She is passionate about the industry because it brings people together.

Mary Angelyn is the assistant editor at Jay’s Beef. She lives in Chicago, with her husband and two daughters. It is a great neighborhood because you can find almost any ingredient in just a few blocks. Smith College was where she studied theater design and art history. However, she found that she spends more time discussing recipes than color theory or iconography. After working for a few years in editorial media, she became a freelance assistant food stylist.

Sara Scanlon, a passionate storyteller, and writer is a great example of this passion. She holds a triple major Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication English, and Economics, as well as a Master’s in Journalism and Mass Communication. She is a skilled writer and editor with more than four years of experience. Jay’s Beef is aided by her journalism background to produce high-quality content for its readers.
